Avery Carpentry have provided us with excellent quality & service on a recent large new build modular accommodation site at RNAS Yeovilton. The level of quality was very high, operatives worked safely & the programme was maintained with good communication from tradesmen, contracts management and Adam himself. We would be delighted to work with the teams again.
Laurie Garside, Projects Manager
Avery Carpentry were introduced into my site team after a very difficult first year of a four year programme. From a very professional first meeting through to a well organised structure on site, I can truly say that Avery have played a massive part in the improvements we have realised throughout the evolution of this large project. They have led the way in various safety and health initiatives on site and operative compliance levels are frequently praised by various visitors and staff. As a result of implementing a well-structured management team; progress, resources and quality are always well controlled and when necessary they will go the extra mile to achieve what is required.
I would certainly explore the opportunity of working with Avery Carpentry again in the future.
Wayne Scannell, Senior Project Manager
We have engaged the services of Avery carpentry over the last 3 years on various projects from new build large offices, school new build/extensions and currently on a combined new build/refurbishment of a school sports hall, changing rooms extension and theatre lobby.
We have found them to be reliable in attendance and works are carried out to a high standard of quality with good health and safety awareness.
Adam has also being accommodating when requests for variations to the works have been required. I would recommend them for future use and to anyone requiring their services.
Keith Welsher – Site Manager – Morgan Sindall
A Reference for a Sub contractor – Main contractors don’t like to give them (generally) as good sub- contractors are hard to find.
Avery carpentry provided us with between two and ten carpenters for a twelve month period and the staff who turned up were of good quality in respect of workmanship, safety adherence, working with and alongside other trades and thoughtfulness of the requirements of the overall project. Their commercial accounting is good, providing a coherent cumulative account for the works undertaken.
Would I use them again? Yes.
If you want to offer my number should they want a short discussion regarding Avery, I am happy to take the call.

Avery Carpentry has just completed their first project for Midas Construction at Croyde Bay Holiday Complex. We set them very demanding timescales to enable the hotel to operate during the summer season which were achieved without exception. We would have no hesitation in recommending Avery for any type of carpentry or joinery in the future. With their eye for detail, professional approach and cheery demeanour they have been a pleasure to work with.
Ian Pitman – Divisional Director Midas Construction

We would confirm that Avery Carpentry have recently undertaken and satisfactorily completed a couple of contracts for Taunton Fabrications Limited, namely a large external balcony structure serving new housing in Frome and a disabled access ramp to a university in Exeter. Both contracts were carried out to our programme, budget and quality requirements. Avery Carpentry supplied all the necessary certification for health and safety legislation. We would have no hesitation in using Avery Carpentry for future contracts.
Martin Kennard – Contracts Director
I can confirm that Avery Carpentry Contractors have successfully worked for D R Jones Yeovil Ltd on numerous occasions and have always achieved what is required of them in terms of performance and budget.Their skills range from roofing (traditional and cut), first fix structural formwork right through to second fix and bespoke joinery. In addition to the above they have also completed several timber frame erections including a particularly complicated structure at a Care Home project in Wiveliscombe. Therefore I would have no concerns regarding their future employment.
